Jan große Beilage is an expert in urban transport planning, in the development of regional transport concepts, but also in the field of spatial planning and transport infrastructure. Since 2017, he has been Unit Head for the Transports ‘en Site propre’ studies at the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis. Between 2006 and 2017, he was a senior consultant at the consulting firm ‘Transport Technologie Consult Karlsruhe GmbH (TTK’). From 2014 on, he managed the TTK branch office in Lyon. From 2002 to 2006, he was Head of the Traffic Planning Department at the regional planning agency AURM in Mulhouse, France having previously worked as a consultant for transport and technical infrastructure at the regional planning agency of the Rhine-Hesse-Nahe and Western Palatinate, Germany. Before 2001, he was scientific advisor for research coordination, research programmes and international cooperation at the Federal Highway Research Agency BAST, Germany.
